GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Dimethyl Carbonate is Colorless & Transparent Liquid

APPLICATION

PC: Could be used to compound PC.

Pharmacy: Could be used to compose antibiotics, fever-reliever and painkiller, vitamin and central nervous system depressants & Stimulants.

Pesticide: Could be used to produce Methyl Isocyanate and further produce some Amino Formic Acid Medicine

Substitute: Could produce Phenyl Methyl Ether by taking the place of Dimethyl Sulphate and Manufacture TMAH in place of Chloromethane.

Other Fields: Could be used as solvent, Dye and Electrolyte and etc.

Dimethyl Carbonate could produce ADC and Toluene Diisocyanate by taking the place of toxic phosgene.

SOLUBILITIY

Minutely soluble in water but mixed with some organic solvent such as Ether, Alcohol, Ketone and etc.

STORAGE

Store in a segregated and approved area. Keep container in a cool, well- ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed and seated until ready for use. Avoid all possible sources of ignition (Spark or Flame).

FIRST AID MEASURE

Inhalation. Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing difficult, give oxygen.

Skin Contact. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15min while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.

Eye Contact. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15min.

Ingestion. Immediately flush mouth, get medical attention.
